Welcome to my journal! As it says above, I'm Victoria. I'm a proud Northlandian from the Great White Igloo (a.k.a. Canada) hailing from Toronto who is trying to turn her love for costume and prop making into a degree. I'm also a cosplayer who enjoys dressing up in silly costumes and traveling to conventions with my friends to run around and be even sillier. I like to think that I'm interesting (but I'm sure that's more a matter of personal opinion than anything). I'm fairly candid and open in my posts, so for the most part, what you see is what you get. I tend to talk about life (and usually about how it stresses me out) and costumes a lot. I like costumes, not so much the making of them, but I love the wearing of them! I'm kind of crazy, prone to chronic procrastination, but I get really excited over things I love. ^_^
Things I love in life:
MUSIC! Without music I think I would go insane. I primairly listen to Japanese music, such as Namie Amuro, Koda Kumi, Bennie K, Crystal Kay, Heartsdales, Utada Hikaru, and of course, my #1 love, Ayumi Hamasaki. I do listen to some English language artists, such as Peter Gabriel (my favourite!), Genesis, Linkin Park, Gorillaz, Sondre Larche, and Queen. I really really love music. ^_^
Books: Terry Prattchet is the most amazing writer ever. His Discworld series is, without a doubt, my favourite series I have ever read. I also love Neil Gaiman and Anne McCaffery.
TV: I spend most of my time watching Teletoon, Comedy Network, Space, and Family Channel. Essentially that means I love cartoons, comedy shows, sci-fi, and yes, more cartoons. I especially love Disney cartoons and lots and lots of Star Trek (anything but TOS ... it never grew on me). ^_^
